My labor was absolutely amazing! I can truly say loved all of it and would do it all again in a heartbeat! I let my body do its thing and let it push all on its own like we are made to do. I listened to my body, I didn’t physically push and it went so much better than my son’s labor (his was great too, in the hospital under 12 hours start to finish). The warmth and relaxation of the water made everything less painful and intense. I was able to enjoy my labor with my family and play with our son while in the pool and outside of the pool because I was much more relaxed and comfortable. I had her within about an hour and a half of being in the pool. I got in the pool at about 10:06pm. My son enjoyed playing in the pool with me for about and hour then he got out and fell asleep

I labored out of the pool for maybe 10 minutes to cool off then got back in as the last two contractions were more intense so I knew she was coming pretty soon. I had a contraction and my water broke during it. My body instantly after it breaking pushed her head out, and then within a minute her body came right out! It was crazy and so fast! She came at 11:40pm. To be able to enjoy your labor and slowly pull your baby out and up was so rewarding! I’m so proud of my body and this journey I took with my midwives. This time around I had no stitches and my healing journey was sooo much better too!! I tore pretty bad with my fist in multiple spots with them being 2 degree tears. I physically feel 100 times better and this recovery and labor is night and day difference from my last! I highly recommend looking into the birthing center and all these amazing midwives! My husband and mother also enjoyed this experience as well! We felt comfortable and loved. They seriously are amazing and filled with so much good advice and guidance with not only your pregnancy but your newborn as well!
