In birth centers, midwives and staff hold to the "wellness" model of birth, which means that they provide continuous, supportive care and interventions are used only when medically necessary.”

Full circle
We are pleased to announce that the name for our center will be Full Circle Birth Center. When we set out to name the new birth center, we kept coming back to the idea that we wanted to honor the midwife who has worked in this area for so many years, building access to midwifery care and homebirth. Patrice Bobier has poured out years of dedication in the lakeshore area. She has been an encouragement to us, enabling our practice to become what it is today. The name Full Circle Birth Center is in honor of her private practice, Full Circle Midwifery, which has served the community for 40 plus years. We hope to continue her legacy of education, encouragement, sustainability, and evidence based quality care. We are grateful for all that Patrice has done in our community.
